POSITION SUMMARY Purpose This position is responsible the safe, efficient and reliable operation of control, instruments and analyzer used in ASU processing facilities in APKY. Prime responsibilities include: maintenance, new plant startups and troubleshooting C&I issues, and reliability/efficiency improvement. In support of operations, this position is responsible for engineering /troubleshooting all aspects of process controls system and instrumentation equipment inclusive of the sites various process automation systems (local PLC’s & DCS) as well as all related control loops. The incumbent is also responsible for troubleshooting issues on performance and implementing cost effective solutions, operating models, to ensure consistent and reliable performance of control and instruments. The incumbent works closely with operation team. The position emphasizes organization, change management, work process optimization, planning, and leadership skills with broad knowledge of many engineering disciplines. This position will also be responsible for supporting, mentoring and developing local instrument technicians. RESPONSIBILITIES Operation preparation during plants construction, include documentation collection, related skills training, tools purchase, project acceptance, supplier and contractor contact and list preparation. Routine inspection, map out related procedure Troubleshooting, on call around the clock for emergency plant shutdown Prevent/predictive maintenance system build up and daily maintenance. TAR planning and execution, include maintenance and repair information collection, the preparation of job package, spare and material, contractor and tools, safety management during execution, TAR execution and contractor management, acceptance. Annual budget preparation. Spare parts list and storage ration working-out and making up in time. Reliability assessment, sustainment and improvement. Instruct to technician for daily job Control and electrical system cabinet room daily management Identify cost savings opportunities in spare parts by leveraging reverse engineering skills and experience to repair or make ourselves. Drive continuous improvement in safety performance, reliability and cost of quality goals. Create solid relationships with major C&I suppliers regionally Foster and support positive working relationships with internal and external customers. Promote an atmosphere of team spirit through good example, open communication, good listening, and timely problem resolutions. Carry out tasks and requests from your manager in a timely and efficient manner POSITION REQUIREMENTS Strong communication abilities coupled with excellent broad based technical skills in maintenance and operation of C&I equipment. Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in C&I application and maintenance, engineering and / or operations roles needed. Preferable in Automation, Chemical or Electrical Engineering. College degree or above. Strong verbal and written communications skills in English and a must with the ability to work cross culturally. Demonstrated ability to work independently and make sound decisions required.
